    Bruce v #BHA

    2019: "We didn't cope with their tactics. Their formation surprised us."

    2020: "They outclassed us. We struggled with their 3-4-3."

    2021: "Their tactics were decent. They caught us out in that respect."

    2 years on & Brighton's preferred style is still a shock <laugh>

    Nothing ever changes, I remember us playing there under Bruce.

    Bruce has a list of excuses as long as his arm. Usually preceded with the phrase "I'm not going to make excuses, but..."

    Fulham's last 4 games were against Spurs, Man City, Liverpool and Leeds = three points.

    Newcastle's last 4 games were against Brighton, WBA, Villa, Wolves = two points.

    Yet some people insist Newcastle will 'be fine' for some reason.

    They dropped down the table with Wilson, Almiron and ASM yet some people believe their return will see them fly up the table.

    Despite two recent relegations there are still people who believe they'll 'be lucky as usual' ...

    ... it's quite weird.

    its enough to make you want to go over to their WARM GLOW thread and show some real Sunderland warmth, perhaps not, better putting the boot in, see if i can resist if there's nowt on the telly they will be in for some

    It's amazing how many want to put their survival in the hands of Jones tbh ...

    ... since he was brought in they're worse than before.

    That last match at Fulham is looming isn't it ...
