Is there any truth in the rumours that the Brazilian variant takes the hairs of your chest and er, other areas?

The thing I find interesting is that protests are sound depending on your view, plenty of people believe both of the following:

    - Police are ****s for breaking up the protest last weekend relating to the poor lady who got killed.

    AND

    - Anti lockdown protesters are scum who will cause spike and shouldn't be outside.

Now, I'm not saying I agree with the latter's cause, but surely either all protests are sound or none are? You can't change your mind depending on whether you believe in the cause or not.

You're 100% right to point out the reactions to last summer's beach crowding too. Winter surely showed us that it's mainly indoor socialising that spreads the virus.

Is this instead of reinstating the trip to Mexico? Our serapes will still be useful in N. Yorkshire.

Does depend fairly significantly on how the protests are conducted. The protests last summer in the US are pretty well-studied, and there wasn't a statistically significant increase in caseload, because they were i) outdoors, and ii) almost uniformly masked. While these protesters are outdoors, it's a fairly good bet that most of the anti-lockdown protesters weren't masked. Pictures certainly suggest this. Outdoors is almost always safer than indoors, but masked is also much safer than unmasked.

I had my jab yesterday and did not feel anything. Having woken up this morning I have to admit I ache all over and am constantly parched.

The process of vaccination was carefully organised yesterday with stewards controlling the traffic in the car park behind the surgery. Shame that there isn't a jab to help some people to improve their parking!

Had the AZ Saturday. Felt rough ever since, constant headache and all my joints ache. Hopefully I'll feel better soon but regardless how crap I feel, I'm glad I've had the jab

I have become a new man and have to tell you to stop this. It is demeaning to women all of whom are lovely and never do anything wrong or be horrible.

Didn’t think of it that way, Europe’s wave 3 is our “Kent strain” that has made it over there.
