Tanganga’s having a blinder. Doherty could only dream of playing like this. Cue an own goal now but nonetheless, great performance from him (and Joey Rodon) at the back.
Finally, something to build on. A few good performances, especially Lucas, Tanganga and Rodon. Why, oh why it has taken this long to ditch Doherty and Dier and give Vinnie some minutes, I cannot imagine. Now, let's play this line up and formation regularly and stop ****ing about.

2-0 FT. A better performance and it was comfortable after the second went in. Villa looked rather flat without Grealish and I think we got them at a good time. A few excellent individual performances (Moura, Rodon, Tanganga) and nobody was particularly ****. I'll take that.
Rodon and Tanganga were excellent. Vinicius was very good too. Hopefully they'll keep being picked from now on
Good win. Some real positives out there., particularly the defence. Not the hardest fight they will have but 2nd half all were really dood including Sanchez. Lucas MOTM by a mile.
I repeat, he’s had a ****ing blinder today, him or Lucas for MOTM with Joey Rodon closely following them. Hojbjerg had some good moments too. Much better second half from us and we desperately needed that win. A shame Sissoko had to come on, would’ve rather brought Alfie on but other than that it’s a from me.
It's just an obvious foul that Kane's happy to take. Sliding in like that is utterly stupid and it's inarguably a penalty.
