I was thinking about how shambolic this club has become and then realised how true the word Ritchie threw at Bruce was when he called him a coward. How can the powers that be at this club continue to hide, to do nothing, to sleepwalk to oblivion and then it struck me - they are all, to a ****ing man, cowards. They refuse to be accountable, hide from the press, don’t speak, don’t comment and don’t act. They are all ****ing disgusting cowards and it’s about time somebody stood up to them and pulled them from the shadows. The question for this forum is, who can do it and how?
I think they're focused on selling and due to the compensation Bruce would get they looked at the table around the end of January and took the decision to bring in Jones to address our playing style and it instantly worked... Just before the window closed we went away to Everton and we looked a new side and went around 12 points clear of 18th, so they didn't bring any other players in and that was that because we looked safe, but then came our injuries and then came Fulhams 9 points in a week and before they knew it they'd passed checkout time and are now forced to seeing their gamble play out.. They should've signed another right back and another striker, but they didn't and I feel that's the big mistake because we all knew Wilson would get injured and we all knew Krafth was useless.
Only team in the premier league to not win a game in the last 5. 2/19 wins. Bruce should have been sacked. Ashley doesn’t learn and it’s 3rd time unlucky. RIP NUFC!
Not sure it's possible to be cowardly about NUFC if you simply don't give a crap about the club which I think is much more likely with these ass clowns
I don't think its cowardly. Ashley is quite open he doesn't give a **** about the club. I think its more sickening than anything else. Over a decade allowing the club to decay. Knowingly.
Bruce's excuses aren't just annoying - they're the problem. When you've got a team not doing well, turning it around requires taking responsibility for not being good enough, and deciding to do better. Work harder, pull together. But if the leader won't take any responsibility, then it's easy for the players to say 'well, I did my bit. It was someone else's fault. Or bad luck. Or Covid. Or something.' Or they can hope that other teams will be worse, until it's obvious they're not and too late to do anything about it. Brighton and Fulham are playing like a team. We aren't. Besides, if we do go down, they all think they'll get a transfer to a PL club. Because they think of themselves as PL players - however laughable that may seem in some cases - and the slide towards the championship is someone else's fault.
He's just uninspiring.. I watch litterally all rhe presser and post match interviews the lot and after about 4 weeks it struck me just how dull he is.. I mean if you've got no ability to coach you nerd personality in abundance.. Bruce has neither ability or personality it appears.
I firmly expect Bruce to still be the manager of nufc club when we are away at Fulham. I really hope I'm wrong.
