Was that Big FF making a low stop to his left at short range, close to his body at the end? ****ing hell.
A bonus for Saints in the run-in is that Ings needs to really shine to get into the Euros squad, and to put himself back in the window for his (alleged) move.
Bad start to the day. For some reason my diary had this as a 19:45 KO - only realised my mistake when team news came up on twitter So many good things to talk about today and hardly any negatives (apart from us perhaps wasting quite a few dead ball situations). Agree with most of the praise for Redders, Djenepo, Adams, Vesty and Armstrong. Special mention though for Diallo who played very deep as the centre backs went wide and then, blow me, he appears on the edge of the Bournemouth penalty area causing all sorts of problems. And still only 21. Nice to see JWP commanding the centre midfield and encouraging that we can replace both CBs and hardly miss a beat. That first goal (disallowed) got me very angry. They put so much effort into the freeze frame and dropping check lines to make a decision based on millimetres, but the key point - when Bedders actually makes contact with the ball is a pixel in the background. It's impossible to tell when the pass is actually made. That freeze-frame today showed the ball already moving which accounts for those millimetres and then some more. Therefore onside. Anyway, I hope the players do not get too pleased with 'getting to Wembley'. It's a Semi FFS - it should be played somewhere else. The only thing that matters to me is getting to the final and winning it. Edit: Oh yeah, big shout out for FF too. When called on, he made some important saves and seems no longer to have a weakness at his near post.
Has anyone mentioned - WE ARE GOING TO WEMBLEY. important we don't get carried away but I have made space in the saints trophy cabinet, booked the open top bus and arranged flights to Denmark for our Europa League match in the summer. COYR
Bollocks to not getting carried away; I've already bought some fireworks to launch at City landmarks come May. It's the way of the bigger clubs who win things... @saintKlopp @Solid_Air 2 solo @Special Patrol Group to confirm
****ed off with the game mate and lost interest, mainly cos of VAR. Once it was obvious we weren't going down it killed my interest, especially without fans present. Couldn't help myself today though because, despite my age, I'm a traditionalist as well you know, and I love the FA Cup. One major trophy and I think I can die a happy man. Otherwise I've lost interest until we're relegated. Hope you're good anyway mate, I know you know where I'm coming from. We're unappreciated in our own time fella **** football and the premier league but up the ****ing Saints
The Grimbergen range and Mrs Jab's fav Hoegaarden are 2-4-1 at my local supermarket. Just picked up 6 Grim blondes and 6 Hoeys for €5.63. It'd be rude not to buy at that price.
I'm winning us the cup and getting the freedom of the city. You lot will be taking me out for drinks and dinner every night but none of that will be as sweet as seeing another skate lift the cup for us.
Glad to see you're looking up again, matey. Take it from us and Ozymandias though - even the mighty can fall rather heavily.
