Big goal that just before HT. Just need to keep it tight and not give them a way back into the match.
That goal should do Redmonds confidence the world of good. The players will be pumped for the second half.
He's always been a confidence player and has been dropped quite a lot this season and lots of appearances to change a game from the bench, this could change things for him.
Managed to beat Burnley away. So got something about them. Fingers crossed. We do love to throw a 2-0 lead away.
What do I know. Redders has done well and more than justified Ralph’s decision. But please Ralph, look at how many problems we gave them when we got the ball forward early and had their defenders running towards their own goal, compared to the way they shut us out when we built up slowly. Praise to Redmond for his goal and assist but the first goal was made possible by the quick pass to Redmond, from KWP, giving him the time and space to turn and run at the back line. Not feeling quite as nervous now but everything hinges on the next goal as to whether or not I become euphoric or neurotic.
Good to see Nathan running at the defence instead of looking back for a pass. As someone says he’s a confidence player and this should help that hugely ...... just need to keep it tight now ...... don’t let them back and wait for the commentators to remind us how many times we’ve lost from a winning position. They have to come back at us now, so there should be even more room behind them. Go Moussa and Nathan, run them ragged .....
Unless Sheff Utd get through we are going to be huge under dogs regardless of who we play, but yeah I guess we want Everton Leicester and Sheff Utd through to have the best (exceptionally slim) chance
