Ours did two massive ****s on the floor during the night so not getting anywhere near the bed until he’s sorted that out!
Howling and ****ting... lovely Seriously though, he's (she's?) clearly scared with the change in circumstances and environment. It'll get better with time but start as you mean to go on and don't deviate from that plan. Give an inch and the dog will take a mile. So easy to give up because you feel sorry for it but you'll pay for it later. Every action as a consequence.
yeah he’s never been alone before as was one of 7 puppies out on the streets and then in kennels with loads others so new country, strange people on his own. They told us for 3 days should pay as little attention to him as possible and then gradually start to interact. first few weeks going to be tough but worth it eventually.
5mths is a bit older than usual too, don't think it'll make a lot of difference but he'll be more aware of what's happened before. Usually allowed to join new homes from about 12wks but can be anything from 8wks. First i had was only 8wks, took a few days to settle but the mrs let him in the bedroom immediately so never left. Second I had was only 4wks (his mother rejected him) and we had to bottle feed him. Kept him downstairs immediately and it worked for a long time until we moved (4yrs already!) and had no choice but to let him have to run of the house (doors didn't shut properly).
Cos he came from Romania they don’t let them travel until hit certain age. Would have been a lot easier to get much younger one from UK which would have been ideal but getting a young puppy is tricky from a rescue. Demand especially at the moment just far outweighs what’s available and we didn’t want to buy privately.
My daughter's left arm after her collapse in January due to her as yet undiagnosed condition, they have only been looking into it for 2 years now! please log in to view this image
Yet to know if she will regain full use of her arm, as she works in a lab with dangerous chemicals it could be the end of her PHD. She is also a good musician so is worried she can't play anymore to the standard she could do. Feel so sorry for her as she has had a crap 12 moths before her fall.
That's really **** mate, really sorry to hear it. My break wasn't as bad as that and I've lost 20-25% movement in my arm and strength in my thumb. Fortunately, it was my spare arm.
