Firstly let me start by saying I rarely gamble at all but Ladbrokes have Everton at home to beat Man City in the FA Cup at 8 to 1. That seems like a huge diss to Everton?!
Good luck Nige. Just watched his first interview. What a man. Charlton have earned another (social media) follower.
Delighted for Adkins!!! He was a great manager in his time at St Mary's who had SFC playing some of the best football I have ever seen. I hope he can do the same at Charlton.
Go on Nigel... good luck fella. I hope the sum of all Charlton’s parts is greater than the need to draw a blue line under them and there’s enough talent to go with the hard work! Oh and don’t forget to get yourself home after training and make love to Mrs Adkins.
Roofe sent off for Rangers after planting his boot in the keeper's face. No way that is an accident. Sure the collision may have been, but the foot didn't need to stay up there. Disgusted as much as when Austin kicked a keeper in the head playing for us. Ban the arsehole for a long time.
Horrific collision but the ball comes over his shoulder so he isn't even looking in the keepers direction, no part of me thinks that was intentional (unlike Austin). The fact he gets the ball about half a second before the keeper shows that his foot was there to win the ball, not hurt the keeper. 100% red but 0 intent for me.
Looking at the Europa League there are some wily and clever teams still left. If Manchester United think it is theirs for the taking, they need to think again. I suppose some on here might want Ajax to succeed due to Tadic. Personally, I don't like to see CL dropouts winning this tournament, so any of the other six would do for me.
Accidental collision - probably. Making sure you stay on your feet by leveraging off the keeper's face. No accident.
Really pleased for Nigel. He's taking over Charlton at time when they're higher in the table than Saints were! I just hope Charlton fans are realistic. At Saints he took over a team that had a number of players who showed themselves to be Premiership quality. I'm not usre whether Charlton have an Adam Lallana or Morgan Schneiderlin tucked away, as I don't known their team. Always liked them as a club, and remember Scott Parker scoring two great goals against us at our place. Luckily Steptoe scored a couple of scruffy ones in a 3-2 win!
I also hope he does well there, but some of their fans are not impressed with his appointment......hope he proves them wrong.
Nigel prefers to call it 'having some romance'. Got to love the guy...wish him the best of luck at Charlton.
