I’m not sure why he says O’Nien didn’t play well other than the “I have to find negative stuff to post” (as if to prove a point I made during the game). He made a mistake trying to beat a player when he should’ve cleared the ball and missed a sitter he should’ve scored. Barring 2 mistakes (one of which was a striker mistake) he seemed solid to me. Made tackles, won headers and played decent passes out of defence. He wasn’t to blame for any of their chances except for one foul. He just wasn’t as involved as in the last few as the ball was moved in other areas by the opposition. Maybe Accrington saw how effective he has been and didn’t play that channel because of that.

for wolfy to say he was shocking really is just looking for something to be negative about so he fits his self made persona!

as @Smug in Boots says, I’d hate being anywhere near him in the ground as he seems to be nothing but negative

You don't tend to score a header with your 2nd touch.

If the stadium was open there would be a massive crowd in for Sat. Atmosphere would be amazing. Shame we can't be there but I'm still uber confident the juggernaut will roll on.

Thankfully the players seem to be in the same frame of mind ...

... and that's vital if you want success.

  16. I remember when we were in this division before under Denis Smith, from about the beginning of October I felt confident we would go up,even when we didn't play particularly well and came unstuck at places like Aldershot and York, there was something about our performances, players, attitude that seemed to have a certain conviction about it. I know we hit the top of the league early that season,so different from now,but we were looking over our shoulder until the last 7 or 8 matches or so,...more or less from the Wigan mudslide game.
    I haven't had that feeling again,....not once,....since we've been in this division this time round......until now!! <laugh>
