Christ I've had my first bets this week since last year's festival and its just ruined the racing for me. Much happier just watching and not betting so I'm kicking it into touch, prefer to just enjoy the racing. I don't really fancy much on day 3 any way. It would be nice to see Paisley Park win and of course Envoi Allen and I think Melon could be tailor-made for the Ryanair.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...bet-Envoi-Allen-wins-Cheltenham.html#comments Punter has been offered £275k cash out for £500k if Envoi Allen wins tomorrow. I would take it. £0, £275k or £500k? No brainer.
depends on your stake and your circumstances i expect , think i’d take the dough , we’ve all seen strange things happen , last obstacle fall , unseat for no reason .........
I hate cash out as you know, to me is a fiver bet and a potential 1/2 million pay out. Cashout just muddies the water and plays on the punters mind.
I would only cash out if the amount would make a difference to my life. £2750 v £5000 would be a no deal, £27500 v £50000 no deal, but £275 v £500k i would cash out.
yeah i bet he has. the bookmakers are trying to save themselves over 200K. Envoi Allen is as close a certainty at Cheltenham that you can get
for me it makes it more interesting - i never gamble recklessly anyway. i must admit though i wish i had not bet on the Cross Country today. I would have enjoyed Tiger Roll win much more had i not lost on Easysland!
100% I'd cash that out. A truly life changing win. Only takes one bad jump or even another horse taking it out. Or having an off day. Most likely it will win but I'd take the money and run.
Got to be made up that has - most ridiculous combi bet I've ever seen and certainly inter-dependencies on the novices. Load of old bollocks, bookie-sponsored to get people gambling. I'm surprised he didn't have "First photos from the surface of Mars" in there too,
Definitely. If I had £275k cash, I certainly wouldn't be putting it on a horse race where, as we have seen, anything can happen. He might regret it if EA wins but not as much as he would if he watched £275k go down the drain
