All clinicians agree with this statement.

I miss ColU Mike. Especially since his team is getting dangerously close to going out of the league and it would be great to tease him.

If the Tesco’s do go out of the league he will blame the fact that us Budgies nicked Lambert from them all those years ago. Barnsley winning at half time, going into 5th as it stands with Reading losing.

There was a healthy gap between 6th and 7th at one point, and the playoffs looked fairly settled. Not sure that's the case now! Bournemouth in 7th are 2 points off as it stands.

    Another pen to Bees.
    Toney scores again.

Unless Brentford win this I think that's it for them and auto promotion.

20 mins to go in that game. For Brentford, real risk that this ends their automatic promotion hopes.

They still have a match against Watford, right? I reckon as long as they are within five points of Watford at that point (unless it’s the last game!), they have a chance. It’s a must win game for them.

It's the penultimate game. As it stands they'll be 4 points behind Watford, both having played 37 games. Swansea are 1 point ahead with a game in hand.

Thanks DH. I think Watford will have a wobble too, and Swansea are entering theirs. There is quite a bit of football left to play - nearly a quarter of the season! So I just think it’s too early to be confident just yet and I am still pretty sure it will go at least as far as that penultimate game before the automatic positions are fixed and quite possibly to the final matchday. Those three teams’ fans are going to have an anxious couple of months!
