I think Wales have a good young team tbh. Wish them well as Gary Speed is their manager. Ramsey, Bellamy, Bale, Gunter, Williams, Collins all good players and should have beaten England

Hold on...didn't Wales come close to beating England at Wembley a few weeks ago. Also, Scotland were 2 places further down the rankings than England 3/4 years ago, so we aren't all that bad, our game is based on 100% passion. If England had half the passion Scotland do, you would get to world cup finals! I don't know if the article had the intention of having a dig, but as a proud Scotsman, I do feel kind of offended.

 

True, but could say that for England - take Rooney, Cole, Terry out we would struggle.

Just comparing the quality of players like-for-like. What I've said is basically the truth, the difference in quality is VAST, but as I've said, it isn't the fault of Scotland or Wales as countries (they're very small) and at the end of the day, it's what happens on the pitch which is important.

I just didn't realise that Scotland and Wales had to field such poor players in certain positions just to field a starting 11.

Downing - Rooney - Young

Bent

Then would include Taylor, Sturridge, Agbonlahor in squad
