Be back to face us if he’s only got 3 games out

Those 3 games missed could be crucial

Peterborough are not missing him tonight. Saying that they could have played the u15s v Portsmouth. They've been abysmal.

To be fair mate, they're winning with an OG and have had one attempt on goal.

Portsmouth have actually started to play better second half. I'm getting grief watching this and not letting my daughters watch the bake off.

The article says that he'll miss a number of games (unspecified) including the next three. So he could be out for even longer. Just need Clarke-Harris to come a cropper and they'll be bollocksed.

Probably the best player in the league, away from us.

It’s a definite benefit. Even if he comes back v us, won’t be match sharp.

Dembele was subbed just after the hour mark, not sure if he was injured or not. Peterbrough were hanging on at the end.

Took a while for LJ to play Sanderson as well in all honesty. Probably wouldn’t be in the side now if it wasn’t for injuries.

Exactly, training ground injuries tend not to be impact injuries so it may be hamstring, muscular, etc ...

... I'd think the doubt will be that he needs a scan.

It could easily be a couple of months.

Also, as we've experienced this season, players coming back from this type of injury needs more time to regain confidence, in the injured part, than with an impact injury.

The article says “second most deadly trio”

wtf is that all about! Was it “We have to make it all about how deadly he is but he’s way down the scoring charts... and there’s other duos with more goals... let’s look at trios then”

Peterborough have played most of their attacks though that triangle because they don't have enough pace for true wing play.
They play Szmodics and Dembélé behind a centre forward (Clarke-Harris).

The three men attack as a unit to draw in the defence and those two will either lay off to a wide midfielder to cross or pass (maybe via each other) through to the centre forward.

Take out Szmodics or Dembélé and the deep attacking forward has lost his immediate support. that gives defenders an easier time.
