Coleman had a shocker on Epatante, would only have been 2nd though. Kenny Alexander has some agent to get these mares, hoping he has another top notcher in Gauloise and really glad to see Townend stuck with her over Hook Up, that a big statement I think.
Some record, and last 2 runs suggest shes improving still, i thought she caught them sleeping a bit at leopardstown but that was electric.
She gets 7lbs. She’s beaten 164 rated Sharjah by 6.5 lengths. I would love to see a level weight race. I don’t think she’s a great but she’s as good as the best geldings and gets half a stone off her back. There’s nothing coming through that looks like it’ll stay over hurdles next year (at the moment) that you would guess could become a 170 horse so the division is hers for as long as they can keep her on the boil.
Don't say that... It's the only bet in advance I've had... Have my nuts on him and him and Monkfish in a double... Time to bite my nails for the next day or two and hope it's a repeat of the year where Mullins had no winners for the first two days, then steamrolled everything...
