Why oh why do I always refuse to bet antepost... I keep telling myself I'll start next year. With all the horses pulled out lately the prices on the day really are so far off the antepost market, even from a week ago. Really strange by Rachel to take on All mankind for the lead, cost Captain Guinness the second place which would've had me sorted for the week Anyways, a great two races so far, with both horses showing their class compared to the rest in the field, here's hoping the rest of the day is as enjoyable (even though I'm losing money!)
Yh, about half as short as id be interested in taking a year out, I got 6s in the Supreme iirc, a point bigger for a race a year away not my cup of tea
post yer bet or youre going back on block, had you blocked for months, no idea why I took you off recently, the only other person ive ever blocked on here is a tweet spamming bot
That's a bit weird logic mate. Horse wins by half the track at odds on but 7/1 wouldn't have been good enough. I'm not sure what you'd consider value.
I'm right there with you on that - would like VC to place as well. Really interesting race the next one!
he wasnt 7/1 today, he was 7/1 a year ago apparently, if you dont understand the difference I cant really help, backing something at single figures for a race thats a year away doesnt interest me in the slightest the horses im backing for the flat season are all double figures and its only a few months away, one of them 40/1, already on a decent one at 66s single figure prices arent going to decide my year
Yep VC has been a real stalwart in this race but as a 52 year old I can assure you age catches up with all of us
I'm on Happy too, and although I haven't had an ew saver, I am intrigued by OK Corral's chances. 11 years old and 415 days off - maybe I will have a tanner ew!
haha! I'm not going to argue with you on that - it'll be a tough one. So close in 2019 - let's call it my dreamer bet of the day
