Erm.... they were told that it was unsafe to hold such an event in the current situation yet decided to hold it anyway. Then they say that it was someone else making it unsafe.

It's all too weird for me.

Loads of people took part in the doorstep vigil yet this hasn't been reported due to a few that disregarded the law and did it anyway. It has kind of turned in to an us vs them thing instead of raising awareness of how women feel when out on their own.
