Thought Dowell looked dangerous and he was given longer than usual. Perhaps should have scored but got in positions where he was dangerous. Maybe time to start him on Wednesday.
I was speaking mathematically, Rob. 90 may well be enough, in which case 3 wins 2 draws and 5 defeats would do it, which is very much lower-half form. (Although personally I am not so sure that two of the three chasers won't get to 90+).
If you really want to know it comes from being really... really.... really bored during an English lesson at high school. The teacher (I nicknamed her Gremlin, but have no idea her real name) was droning on so with my makes we make this sci-fi world to keep us sane. I was the king of the planet Zog and this being the time we all got our first email addresses nobody else had Zogeanking/Zogean_king so it went from there, my internet alter ego!
Dowell, like Gibson, Quintilla (if he stays), Sørensen, Placheta and Hugill as well as any new players coming in could be the key to survival in the PL. Gibson and Giannoulis have effectively replaced Godfrey and Lewis and added experience as well. Sørensen will be a key player if Skipp doesn't come back but Dowell is playing in the one attacking position that hasn't really developed this season and if he's ready to step up to PL level that could be huge. Injuries have kept him from getting the run of games he needs to develop a rhythm and deliver in that key position. Let's hope he gets a chance now.
