Bit harsh that - I'd say the 'Tiddler's Travels' is a pretty good football thread Non-League and local footy deserves all the coverage it can get.
I've heard it has improved markedly in the last few years. Must admit I'm sceptical though. Decades ago I tried that 'Calibre' non-alcoholic lager. My God it was awful.
They threw some money at it. And fair play for trying something difficult, even if they failed. I know lager isn't to everybody's taste anyway. But you can find decent ones. In my experience not decent non-alcoholic ones though.
Obviously I like my beer but I just had a lovely cup of tea - Yorkshire tea bags , you can’t beat them
I'll drink lager, but will always choose bitter if there's a choice. When I grew up, the standard London beer for bitter drinkers was Courage Best, and Courage Directors, so things are only getting better. We can get London pride out here in Spain, which is fine by me. I am curious though. As all these micro breweries appear everywhere, why is IPA suddenly such a big thing. Seems like 80% of any new beer in pubs in the UK these days is IPA. Is it easier to make
Unlike me, this has a lot of body. You can't drink too much of the Belgian gear, unless you want to risk SERIOUS problems.
