Think people need to rewind a few months and remember the mess this club was in and the impossible job being manager of Charlton was ... LB could have said f@@k this a few times but like the Charlton staff this club means more to him then just a job .. that’s why he deserves a chance to enjoy the summer like a proper club .. no worries about owners , money , are we getting paid through the summer , can we afford to keep players or bring new ones in etc etc ... LB and SG have performed miracles and it’s time for them to be given a chance with backing to do what they want to do and not what are forced to do by restrictions....
LB true fans and fans who understand football are right behind you .... not the idiots on other forums who don’t deserve a club

    100%

Give him 15 games next season, it has to be said that the previous 12 months have not been great but he has had massive problems behind the scenes.

However, it needs to be noted Bowyer has to be accountable for performances.

LB has to also be accountable for team selections .... having both Watson and Prats in midfield does not work, 70+ years of experience but also 70 + years of work in their legs.... never again should they play in the same midfield together...... also, it seems to me that Maatsen and Millar can not play on the same side as they tend to want to run into the same areas....if you want to play Maatsen at left back then play Millar on the right wing.... simples

Those keyboard warriors on twitter who are telling our beloved saviour to sack Bowyer need to take stock of themselves. What do they hope to achieve? Bowyer hasn't got everything right, but a lot of the criticism is unfair. The idea that he should play the same team every game for instance, is silly. Having the expert summarising of Steve Brown does help to shine a light on the sort of mistakes we're making though, partly because he knows the game and partly because you miss a lot when the camera follows the ball. Good coaching can get you so far, but better players would not be making these mistakes, and next season we should have better players.

There someone who tells us about his football knowledge is second to none ... yet in the last 24 hours as started a thread about Jackett getting sacked at Pompey .... keep it simple Jackett and Bowyer situation are completely diff .. has Jackett had ownership issues, embrago, wage caps etc etc to deal with NO .. he had a straight forward four year club to run and failed ... Bowyer has yet to have a normal season in charge of Charlton
