how many times have these women not made it home? What's making them afraid? I think in certain places at certain times I walk looking over my shoulder.. Its your instinct saying look out for any weirdos and protect yourself at all costs

I think I probably assume I'm talking with lads and that's a mistake and a level of ignorance on my part, but on this thread I've not said anything unpleasant about women.
He’s partially correct on this occasion. The perception is crazy! If I’m seeing a friend that’s a girl. I just say let me know if they get home safely, just out of courtesy. Even if they’re driving 100% of the way. A text out of common courtesy is being turned into that the only reason this text is being sent is because they’re nutters about. It’s not true
I think you should highlight those statements bro. If you feel I'm truly disrespectful towards woman, I'll apologise. But I'd need evidence for that, as that wasn't my intention in the slightest. If I'm being honest, I think you misread it all and are doubling down as opposed to just saying "oh, I didn't get it."
I'm the same, I would always check someone has got home safely. I'm always conscious as well of any females that are walking home alone (avoid this happening if at all possible), we shouldn't have to live like that, but the reality as you highlight is we do.
