Very average racing ahead of next weeks bonanza although there is a decent couple of races at Sandown this weekend. Imperial Cup looks a very moderate renewal but the novice handicap and the mares bumpers are really interesting. I quite like FOBs runner at Carlisle, She’s A Novelty as it’s down in grade, has a useful claimer on and has travelled up alone. Didn’t like enough to headline it though. The others I like today, Crypto, Admiral Balko and the Murphy bumper horse are all far too short to get excited about.
Going to have a little punt on Prince of Qatar 8.30 Newcastle, being placed so many times it could be time to step up not only in trip but to the plate also.
