It's pretty flat. Nobody's happy. The majority of members are deflated because we didn't win with that last-gasp penalty. Those who have it in for Bowyer are glum because we didn't lose. A draw isn't much use to us at this point, but we kept a clean sheet at least. Many of us were expecting to get beaten I think.
I have left ITTV permanently. This was in response to a threatening private message. I won't ever comment on that forum again, or mention any of its members. I will also not answer any questions about this decision, in public or by private message.
If it was a serious threat to your wellbeing I would, in your position, consider a formal complaint to Proboards and even the Police.
Unfortunately it has become more toxic over there , and when the mod over there is one of the main causes of this I can’t see it getting better until he goes - I hope he can find happier times with his “new” team , personally I can’t flip flop from one team to another but can understand having a soft spot for one but supporting another. Never say never Lardy it may well become a decent forum again if we start improving, but this is Charlton not Athletico Madrid
I have now seen the exchange in which the PM is mentioned. Obviously I have not seen the PM but it seems unlikely that it was a threat of physical violence. More a reaction to some prodding and, I would hazard a guess, a threat of some sort of restraint or curtailment.
I think the best thing to happen to this thread is if it is deleted and we concentrate on this Forum.
Personally I don't mind if this thread remains open for members to contribute to, as & when they wish to. By common consent, no subject within reason is forbidden for discussion on this forum. However, I won't be making any further additions to it. Having said that, if nobody has an objection I'll be happy to delete this thread. I'll wait a few days to give everyone who wishes to, a chance to give their opinion.
Hopefully the thread will disappear from the front page of its own accord if no-one contributes to it. We all know what it's like,and as I've said before it's a shame because there are some good posters there.
@lardiman, I'm with you on deleting the thread. I realise I have not had much to say about them in the past, so it does not affect me much. My final word, f*** the apologists.
