Ref. Wilks’s penalty..imho I thought was good, he shaped to put it left, as the keeper started to go that way, he put it in the right corner. Looked to me he was in total control of it but hell it’s just an opinion...
Another very good team performance but thought Honeyman excelled again last night. Just watching Sunderland boss Pompey and they look well up for the run in scrap.
Posh's owner not too pleased about loss. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...agh-macanthony-peterborough-hull-city-5108401
Thanks for that. But I don't see any statistics showing the number of set pieces. Surely you need to take into account the number of set pieces and goals scored from set pieces to understand how effective set pieces are.
I've not seen much evidence of effectiveness of free kicks. Set pieces also include corners and penalties.
Actually, those stats I shared earlier count penalties separately. (We've scored 4; somehow Lincoln have scored 9.) Those 18 are from corners and free kicks.
None of our team from last night made it into the team of the week . Seriously, Honeyman at least deserves to be in there.
We do okay on penalties (not sure on conversion rate). Honeymans free-kicks are spot on. Again, don't know conversion rate but I like to guess it's one in ten is a goal.
Just shows what a load of bollocks it is. Who decides who goes in there. Is it one person's opinion and if so do they watch every game.
