I've invited half the village, Montlaur 11220, for the match and told them it's the English Cup Final <laugh>

We have loads of booze and a big screen by the pool, plus a BBQ set up.

F**k it, I may only ever experience this once in my lifetime.

    Haway the Lads!!!!

I've told Mrs Smug, who's birthday is today, that it's the village coming to celebrate ...

... I'm going to really push the boat out and hope I get away with it <laugh>

I'm hoping to get 100 people here and convert at least 20% to SUNDERLAND ...

That's a very good point mate.

Johnson has said he's had players busting a gut to get fit for the Final or trying to impress on the training pitch.

Whatever the case, this is a big deal for the Sunderland players and we have the chance to play a Wembley final that's broadcast to the nation ....

.... if nothing else it's a nice reward for KLD and his family.

Totally agree, you can almost feel the anticipation in the air. Win these 2 and the sky is the limit, confidence from the players will be huge for the rest of the season, but 1 step at a time. Portsmouth tonight and then .......

Now we brushed Portsmouth aside, with little effort, we can all have 4 days rest before the Wembley Cup Final ...

No nerves at all about Sunday. Sincerely hope we win and put in a decent performance.. And yes, a win at Wemberley would be great. Its a great pity our fans can not be there to enjoy weekend

Maybe Im a bit long in the tooth, but wtf, having the misfortune of working with a load of arrogant skunks over the years. and taking the piss out of them for winning a 'nothing' cup in '69 via back door. I could honestly not bring about myself to brag about winning a pizza on sunday

And before Im accused of treating this competition with disdain!!!!!! I was there for Mercantile Credit in 1988 which had far less Kudos!! ( cannot remember who won this but I know we missed a penna)!! (I think)

More interested about getting 3 points against Accrington and sustaining our winning league run tbh

But promotion and a trophy should not be sniffed at!!

    HTL
