Over the last 3 years Sir Steven Gerrard and his merry band of Caffeine soaked journeymen have worked miracles on the European stage. The coefficient points they have garnered have been nothing short of remarkable. They have almost single handedly pulled Scotland out of the doldrums and up to a level not seen in this country in decades.

And what the fúck are Celtic doing? Making an absolute cùnt of it. Punishing their errant fans by putting any chance of Champions league qualification for themselves in the bracket of mission impossible which in turn means Scotland will plummet down the ratings again!

I honestly don't believe that. The only person I knew that wanted Gerrard out was Trev. I knew lots that thought he should be dropping Goldson and Tav last season and lots that thought he should be making subs earlier in the game but they didn't want him sacked.

Football fans are a fickle bunch. The ones that wanted Gerrard binned are the same cùnts who said Tav and Alfredo were useless. Some of us seen the bigger picture and appreciated the progress being made. It would have been mental to get rid of Gerrard before the start of this season.

Mind you, this time last year they were all Neil Lennon so...
