Get him and Hume fit over the next few weeks and they should be able to contribute massively once 100% fit for the run in. Kimpioka has a lot more to prove but you cant help but feel he will benefit from LJ being his manager now
We have the option of extending his contract in the summer, for another year. https://the72.co.uk/226291/sunderland-have-option-of-extending-deal-with-attacker-by-12-months/
Kimpi on the train for Wembley https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...he-papa-johns-trophy-final-at-wembley-3165047
could be a surprise package for the final and the run-in, scares the **** out of defenders with his unpredictability. Haway Benji !!!
Kimpioka has everything to prove as let's face it he has not had a good game yet for the first team. I'm hoping he is another one of the lads that benefits from better coaching. If he has and is fit, his pace and potential goals could take us over the line in the league
You can't rule anyone out can you, players we were convinced were ****e look great under Johnson. I don't see him having a role in the final unless it's a last desperate roll of the dice but I believe there's a quality player in there.
Agreed we haven't seen much of him this season, but similarly the injury also means he can't have had much coaching time. Still, I doubt he would be on the trip if, with late fitness tests due, he wasn't in with a good chance of getting on the pitch. Wouldn't need to be desperation either - could be an injury sub, or maybe if we had a two goal cushion he might be brought on for experience. He might be brought on in extra time as a penalty taker. I'm pleased he is over his injury and am intrigued as to what LJ will do with him. Hell, considering where 09 has played for us this year then I wouldn't be surprised if Benji was played as a wing back!
