They wouldn't let her have help but it came out not so long ago that Harry had been having counselling about the death of his mother. I don't buy that they'd stop her having it if they'd let him. There's a lot that doesn't add up.

With that amount of wealth he has to ask his mam if they can have help? Aye righto! I can’t remember asking my mam for anything since I was 14

I didn't watch it but looking at the headlines of the key points this morning it is fair to say that they are never coming back here again. Talk about burning your bridges!!

I am a royalist, swore an oath to Queen and Country and she paid my wages for 32 years, the missus wanted to watch the interview, but like you, I was never going to watch that ****e so I went to bed. Shows you who wears the trousers in our house <laugh>. My view is whatever happened should be kept in house, hearing one side is never an accurate reflection of what actually went on.

I felt like it was an essential watch, you know it’s gonna be news for a few days and I always like to make my own opinion.

My opinion was that it was a lot of lies based on half truths.

Let’s not overlook the fact that they are very wealthy in their own right and don’t need to lean on taxpayers money for support.

I really wish they would reveal who said what about the colour of Archies skin would be. I'm not saying it wasn't said in a racist context but also without knowing exactly what was said, a comment could have been made simply I wonder who's skin tone the baby takes after, to me that's not racist.
The reason I'm prattling on about this comment is because she is trying to basically claim she was not accepted by the Firm because she was mixed race, I don't believe this for a second, she was looked down on by the Firm the same way that Diana and Fergie were because they didn't want to tow the royal line.
Diana was actually loved by the family to start with but they turned on her when she didn't want to always stick to protocol.
So if Megan is claiming she was treated badly because she is mixed race, at least reveal exactly what was said and in what context so we can make our own minds up. As this is a huge accusation to make for how you were treated for 2 years because of one comment made to your husband

There’s clearly been some shady. It’s on the side of the Royals, but we will never know where that line was. There’s also the factor that folk quite often misunderstand us Brits, and throwaway comments and sarcasm don’t always translate.

I can never get away from the fact that the woman is a divorcee that cut off her own family. This isn’t guaranteed to put any blame on her, but it does point to someone who has difficulty maintaining a balance with people.

There’s a lot that we will never know.

So you keep saying. I've no idea how you living in a 2 bed pit house and sharing a pair of plimsolls with your brother has anything to do with mental health.

    Strange rant.

Seems like the latest thing they've lied about is Meghan saying that her sister who she doesn't like only changed her name to Markle after Meghan married Harry, yet she produced documentation that she did it in 1997.

I'm not even mad just baffled how incompetent they are at lying. Did she think she could say whatever she liked and nobody would check up on any of it? Noobs.

It's clearly another lie isn't it.

If she needed counselling she'd get it. The story about the Palace saying 'no' because it would reflect badly on them is drivel, 'psychiatrist'/patient information is strictly confidential so no one would know.

It's amazing that some people are so quick to believe everything this woman is being paid millions to say.

Oprah made us aware -'' no subject off limits'' So where were the questions eg now back in US, you must have lots of visits and support from your family, how come you had only one family member at your wedding ?

If they're not getting paid, what are they doing it for? If they really want to be left alone, they could be. They could live happily in their California mansion and just keep quiet. I don't believe that's the case though. They (she) wants the status of being in the royal family but doesn't want to do as she's told. This keeps her in the public eye. Either that or she just wants to stick the knife in to the royal family.

CBS did pay Oprah US $ 7-9 million.
It is reported that Harry Morgan did not get paid. However priceless publicity?

If you want a conspiracy theory Harry and Megan are in cahoots with the Saxe Coburg Gotha firm to draw heat away from Uncle Handy Andy. US lawyers had a US style school bus drive past Buck House with a slogan saying Andrew should talk with the FBI recently

Being generous (some might say naïve) they have probably been told that for them to live the Hollywood dream they have to do this or they will be hounded until they do. Then again somebody told Andrew that his interview was a good idea!!!

  19. This woman comes from a dysfunctional background, has turned her back on her family and has had trouble holding down any kind of normal relationships. Any mental health issues she's suffering from are very likely to have been there long before she landed on Prince Wimp as her ticket to a life of easy.

One of the reason I think that poor mental health is on the increase is because of the fact that the standard of living, by and large, has improved in recent times. Folk had more 'normal' things to worry back then. Actual physical worries, food on table etc. Now theres an increase of people living in general comfort and having less to worry about other than the things that keep bubbling away in their own brain. Also, Ive said it on here fairly recently. The typical human brain is finding it hard to be compatible with modern life. Life was slower back then, any worries tended to be 'real' worries, now you cant seem to turn around without something hassling you. I know this because when I have had lifes normal stresses, births, miscarriages, family deaths etc, my daft anxiety worries get put on the back burner. My mental health is better when I have genuine things to worry about. I'm working class but live in general comfort, but I suffer from anxiety. Now if I won the EuroMillions and had my own butler, I would still probably suffer. Thats why I would never judge a persons quality of life on the amount of money and comfort that they have the fortune to have.
Now, when it comes to Meghan. If I was in her shoes and the Royal Family were making me suicidal, the last thing I would do would be to go on television and cause the uproar that she and Harry have caused. She would just not be helping her mental state by doing this. Thats what puts doubt into my head on whether shes had suicidal tendencies. I dont doubt it because of the comfort of of her lifestyle, more the decision of going on the telly and slagging the Monarchy off and not keeping them at arms distance. If you were Harry, and the love of your life contemplated suicide recently , would you be on the telly, holding her hand, doing a 'tell all' interview? Or would you be keeping her at arms length from the bad publicity, sitting on a private beach, supping cocktails and living off the interest?
