I thought the same, pretty boy, unkind of me, but if he/she can terrorise defences lets be having him.
It’s not unlucky, but it’s also not necessarily all caused directly by how we do fitness. Nobody can maintain the motivation in these circumstances and that leads to individuals taking longer to recover if not going missing altogether.
Kvy is another victim of the training ground. What are they doing there? It must be like the Bottom Field at Lympstone...we gotta pray he comes back at the level he was at. Probably our best player...
Yes indeed, if he was fit and our top 5 players played to their abilities then we would be a match for anyone in this league.
Sounds like Skuse might be ready to come back in. Alongside Bishop that would be a huge leap forward from playing Dozzell.
Just saw that Cook may try to bring Josh Windass in from Sheffield Wednesday this summer. Josh played for him at Wigan and at 27 is just the type of experienced midfielder we need. Not sure if it would happen though as they had a falling out before. https://www.footballinsider247.com/ipswich-town-to-swoop-for-former-rangers-star-windass-wednesday/
El mouzini injured playing for Grimsby - out for the rest of the season. I know he’s not in the 1st team here but still...how many more injuries can we get?
First Aluko, then Burgess, now Leigh. https://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/sport/ipswich-town/itfc-suffer-greg-leigh-blow-9289228 Is it time for Gamechanger to enrol the services of a shaman at PR??
Not looking good, tho we do have strength in depth. Burns out on Welsh duty too. I have a foreboding about the Pilgrims game.
Ahadme now out with foot injury! https://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/sport/ipswich-town/ahadme-suffers-foot-injury-9302580
I think whoever mentioned getting a Shaman / witchdoctor in could have a very valid point. Everything seems to have gone against us the last 20 years
We have to trust the new health, medical, treatment and rehab regime at the club. We are in this for the long term, but yes, worrying after only 7 weeks.
Update on Lee Evans, good luck for a speedy recovery. Lee Evans: Ipswich Town midfielder expected to be out for 'few weeks' with knee injury https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63415580
Big miss, been in really good form this season, although both Ball and Humphreys stepped up the other night but Evans offers something a little different.
New training regime - adopting Tom Brady methods and stopping weight training. I wonder if they will all get the special pyjamas or is that a step too far? This will be interesting.
