Just been out for a run. 8km

Don’t see the attraction at all, old lady, man and dog, trees, ducks, more trees, old lady with a dog, pothole, drain, man in van, more ducks.

They should put slags out on the streets to make blokes like me be more interested in running.

do it.. i've had this conversation many times with many people.

pipe smoker, been a long time since i seen someone smoking a pipe. i used to love the smell and watching the plume of smoke as they puffed away.

 

it’s one of them random things you find therapeutic

 

it's old fashioned, something that we are told not to do anymore..

I remember when I was a kid there was a tobacco shop, he sold it like it was sweets all sorts of different blends etc. Smelled amazing in there, no shops smell like that anymore.

 

this brings back memories about a debate i once had, i'm totally on your side mate.

i totally get where you are coming from, all the so called old fashioned shops have closed down, to make way for the big grey boring companies, with their sterile settings to make billions.

 

There was some weird shops like, there was this carpet place me and my mates used to play in, climbing up mountains of carpet rolls until we were told to **** off.

Or hiding in wardrobes in MFI at closing time.

BHS I remember always smelled like old women and toast.

 

There's an old shop in Cardiff that specialises in cigars and pipes, I don't smoke at all at the moment though, never have other than the odd joint throughout my life.

 

Pipe tobacco smells nice, but as someone that has smoked all my life until recently, I've enjoyed cigarettes, cigars but nothing would ever give me the urge to try a pipe again, best described from my experience as totally rank.

 

I've smoked on and of my whole life..

Yet weird thing is, i've never been into drugs.

Probably had about 4 joints in my life, none seem to do anything, so rating it as ****.
Tried coke a few times, didn't really get away with it.
Speed twice, see above.
Then once popped some lsd, ended up in hospital after 3 blokes rammed my face into a range rover grill.

that's pretty much my drug abuse right there.

 

never tried it , but I agree pipe tobacco smells nice. In my dads last few years I used to go into an old traditional tobacconists in southampton for him , the smell was fantastic .

 

I used to end up in bad situations after drinking when I was young, probably one of the reasons I take it easy now.

 

i've ended up in so many, but i can handle that to a certain degree. But me and drugs don't match.

 

In my younger days, I was a bit like Luv, thought I need to try a pipe, just to see if it lived up to the smell. The result was, how does anyone smoke this shhite, you might as well go sniff an ashtray.
