    From being reasonably comfortable, Bruce has put a fine run together to put them in real jeopardy. Takes me back, that does and no doubt the excuses will become more outlandish as the season goes on. Fulham have real momentum now and it looks like being a toss-up between Brighton and the skunks for the drop. Fingers crossed...

    Sometimes rumours start from nothing and gain momentum until you keep hearing the same thing from various people and it all sounds convincing ....

    ... then turns out to be nothing.

    I woke up this morning to three messages from different people all of whom hear things. First was the Jones injury which was sent last night, second was Leadbitter travelling with the match day squad and third was Benitez talking to Celtic.

    The good, the bad and the ugly <laugh>
