    Relegation even more likely.

We go to West Brom and play for a draw. Fulham go to Liverpool and win.

    The difference right there.

We need to stop focusing on Fulham, they’re safe, they are miles ahead of anyone in the bottom 5 at the moment. I think Captain mentioned they did well in the January transfer market and it’s helping them big time. We should be focusing more on Brighton and Burnley

And for the first time, we're in the top 3 with Skybet for relegation.

    Yeah, 44% likely to drop vs Fulham's 33%. Brighton/Burnley are only 12%.

We're in a lot of trouble. Steve should be sacked today, because we have two winnable games with a galvanised squad. Yet we all know they (Ashley/Charnley) just won't do it. Nobody can tell you why or explain the reasoning.

    It's utter madness.

Although interestingly enough we're in a better position than we were before the game!

2 games without losing is kinda a run of form for us, we're not ****ed yet.

All their odds are based on the latest table and the last game, I dunno why Brighton and Burnley are so seemingly safe.

If you look at recent records, Brighton have got 2 points from the last 5 games and Burnley 3 points from the last 5 games. Even we have got 5 points from the last 5.

With Fulham in the form they're in right now, Brighton and Burnley must feel very uneasy.

And yeah sack Bruce, I'd be be fine with Jones having the job to the end of the season.

You see villa as winnable? They were heard running rings around us saying "just keep it lads these are sh*t" and are currently a top half side.

I agree I see Burnley Newcastle Brighton as being in the mix, but our run in is the worst of all 4 sides and we've got our best players out long term.

I'd we don't pick up a couple of wins before mid April we're ****ed

I think Brighton will be fine they've got lamptey and welbeck back.

Yep. We definitely look like one of the worst 3 teams in the division right now, and if we had West Broms points tally, I'd be abandoning hope.

However we have points on the board, and they're all to play for right now.

Absolutely toothless today. Joelinton will never score goals, he can't bloody shoot properly. Scuffs his shots most of the time. Brucie, you'v tried virtually everyone else so give youth a chance and throw Anderson into the mix. Can't be any worse than those you are selecting. Why did you send Andy Carroll on with 20 secs to play on the clock? Should have gave him at least 10 mins if you wanted to win the game or was it always the plan, as normal, to go for a draw.
How you keep your job with 2 wins in 18 games I don't know .You haven't got a clue

Cannot agree that we are way better than you. With both sides having a fit squad to choose form there is nothing to choose between us and, at the risk of causing offence, I would suggest that the difference is between the managers. I feel that Bruce has adopted a siege mentality. Too much attention is being paid to the ongoing spat between him and Craig Hope, who has been banned from St James park, and not enough to matters on the pitch. Having said that it must be time for Hope to wind his neck in. Why would a journalist who normally covers home games travel to the west midlands tor a game that would be the province of a local reporter? The clue is in the headline of his report. Moles - tick goals - cross. followed by a predictably negative report.

The difference between Bruce and Parker is one of man management. Many of your fans have questioned the morality of the number of loanees that we have and that is beyond dispute. Yesterday we had six starting but, here's the thing. Parker has turned a bunch of disparate individuals of different nationalities and cultures into a cohesive unit. In Andersen we have a player who is on loan, and, with no option to buy has been made captain and he has responded magnificently. Crucially Parker does not single out his players, either for praise or criticism, Last season, after a poor performance, Scott Minto probed for an answer - Parkers reply 'we win as a team and we lose as a team'

In spite of all the gloom and doom on Tyneside I still believe that you can stay up. You have a game in hand over us and will continue to do so until the 24th April when your game in hand will be at Liverpool. The reason for this is that Man City and Spuds are in the cup final. Our game against Spuds was brought forward to last week, and on Wednesday City will play Southampton, a game also brought forward. The other good thing is that there is only one tranche of mid-week fixtures left and that is in May. Good luck for the rest of the season!
