Well they say good teams find a way to win. That has got to be such a huge confidence booster and will hopefully stop the comparisons to last season. Some of the players like Youri and Wilf looked tired but now get a week off. Fofana also a bit loose at times but to be expected first game back. credit again to Rodgers for turning it around second half. Only concern for me is Schmeichel's distribution. For such an experienced player his feet are awful at times. But all positives really, a big 3 points and a week closer to getting more players back and lets not forget we are currently second. I can now go mow my lawns with a smile.

Literally a tale of two halves. First half was dire, they must have had a rocket at half time. Second half was like a different team. Like you say, another week now to hopefully get one or two in contention again.

I'm deliberately ignoring the performance tonight. 3 points on the board is the important thing. Sometimes you play well and get nothing and then Sometimes there are matches like tonight. And we absolutely sh1thoused that! The pass from Youri though :emoticon-0115-inlov

A good confidence boost to win again, up to second and hoping man city do man utd tomorrow.

Big Dan is what gives... us a goal. Absolutely wouldn't predict us scoring from a set piece and definitely not by Amartey but <cheers>

Huge performance in terms of our season tonite ... first time Cags and Little Wes have played as a pair ... fine debut from young Sidnei ... and Kels and Vardy starting to look like a proper strike partnership... hopefully Madders back in contention for the next game and no more injuries ...

<laugh> Took a break for the start of the second half and put it back on before the equaliser so didn’t miss the good stuff. Still a poor performance for me but last season that’s 0 or 1 point so I do think this is physical and injury related rather than mental. By going down on one game per week and getting more guys back hopefully we can rally again.
We were just so sloppy though, their goal, 3 centre backs and we are carved open, so many under hit passes and heavy touches losing possession as well as constantly going backwards! I think it frustrates me as I know we can do better, back when we were league one and bottom half championship, we just accepted the crap served up without knowing better.

Something had to give. We’d be fuming if we conceded that, keeper flapping and unmarked but first header directly form a corner since...Evans away at Villa in December 2019? I know the graphic on sky said we had 3 but they have been worked short or come out to Ndidi vs Chelsea but I’m sure that was the last direct one.

Shame for Tavares his long ranger didn’t go in. Such a sweet hit it deserved a goal but just slightly too close to the keeper and at a good height. He looked worth giving a run in the side though.

Since my earlier rants this season about Barnes and Iheanacho it has been an impressive turn around from both of them. Barnes has now become such an important player for us that he is sorely missed. As for Iheanacho, what can I say? Fantastic technique against Burnley and the finish last night was classy and so composed. He could easily have rushed it and knocked it straight against the keeper, but showed the coolness to let the keeper commit and then lift it over him. Top drawer finish. He has become a must start player now that Vardy's goals have dried up. A fit Vardy probably relies on Maddison pushing up against the opposition and then feeding balls through to him, but since Maddison's been out Vardy's hardly had a sniff.

And a good finish from Amartey, and very pleased for him after his terrible injury. That ball came to him so quickly that he did well to react so coolly and get it on target. Those 3 points have now kept the chasing pack at bay. Can we play next week's game at Sheffield, please?

I said at half time that the next 45 minutes were the biggest 45 minuteso f our season and we camr through it.....just.

Now let's get plenty of rest through the week and beat Sheffield Utd next week and hopefully open a bit of a gap up over Man Utd etc (come on Man City)

I still say, forget the FA Cup the week after, rest a few of our "stars" and concentrate on finishing top 4, where we have been ALL season.

No reason we can't compete for both mate, and I hope we do ... a Q/F loss in the Cup won't help the players confidence but a win over United would be huge mentally ... particularly in terms of the later league game at theirs ...

I understand wheere you are coming from Fosse and I don't disagree with you, but I'm just concerned about how much we have got left in the tank.

Hopefully, Maddison, Praet and Evans are too far away from returning. Now that would be a boost.

As long as the FA Cup games are on weekends now we should go all out to win. It’s only another 3 games including the final. Edge past Man Utd and avoid Man City in the semi and potentially we could all have a day out at the end of the season.

It may seem a bit ‘defeatist’ but we play last in the quarters weekend of the FA cup. Genuinely I’d see how Man City go on with Everton and if they go out, go for it. I think we can beat anybody and we have a good record (as good as anyone vs Man City) but this version of them I can’t see anybody beating. If they get through I may be tempted to go sole focus on the league, especially since the FA cup will be watered down in terms of not being a normal final in front of fans..

There seems to be an opinion amongst other fans and the media that we are on a bad run and on the slide but even on recent form tables we are top 2/3. The last 5 we have won 10 points from 15 which is top 4 form. I think the performances and injuries are giving a worse impression than the reality which is quite positive really.
And Man City f***ing useless when we need them to win! Watch them turn up like world beaters when they come to us!

I think when Ihenacho plays with Vardy he looks so much better as the opposition cate so much about Vardy he gets a little more time and space and also somewhere up there with him to work with. It’s when he’s up on his own when he often looks a little lost

Whisper it quietly... but Vardy and Kels are starting to click as a pairing ...

    Sidnei Tavares is a bonus

Pereira and Castagne are getting more match fit with every game

Praet and Perez could soon be in contention

Maddison may not be too far away ...

Just need Harvey back before the end of the season ... which isn't as daft as it sounds ...

If Barnes is out for six weeks from when the injury happened, as suggested, he could be back for the West Ham game potentially. He's a young lad so hopefully he'll be a quick healer.
