Match Day Thread The most important game in our existence

Clark is actually one of my favourite players. Always reliable, a good leader too. Pops up with a goal aswell, I’d have him in my first 11 every week.

 

The negative is that we're back Bruce's tactics and Jones has been told to sit down.

Joelintons hold up play was better today, his short passing is fine too. But he will never ever get the credit, he's best just leaving Newcastle tbh.

If Fulham lose today you will stay up, if they get something Brighton will drop.

Murphy blows hot and cold, more often cold.

Gayle on allows Joey to go back to no. 10 where he's awesome and Willock to go back to midfield. Gayle at least has the goal scoring history to make a case that he can win the game.

****e as he was today, I'd be tempted to have a gamble and start with Gayle next game, allow Joey to play in 10, and if Gayle is **** then take him off.

We can't start with a team that ain't gonna score then only bring on real strikers with 20 kins to go.

 

I don’t even know why he’s picking Gayle. He’s not getting a contract, isn’t very good and doesn’t care. It’s just typically **** management.

We should’ve swapped hendrick for Carroll, gone 4231. It was utterly obvious. But we ended up with two false 9s and two false 10s, it was ****ing bewildering.

Bruce is joint worst manager of all time, no question.

Fulham looking pretty good against Liverpool right now, we really need someone to wallop them soon cos they're gaining in confidence.

 

Bruce's primary objective after this week's stories was to not get beat and keep his job. I feel he was more concerned with keeping his job than anything that happens beyond that.. We didn't try to win that game just like vs Sheffield United, but he likes to have a go vs the big clubs because, he sees that as a free hit anyway.

Murphy is actually not a striker.. Gayle is a striker, so playing gayle as a number 10 was just ridiculous.. Gayles a poacher and offers absolutely nothing playing deeper..

It's a good point if we beat villa or brighton. Losing today would have been a disaster.

 

Tbh I think Clark is our best CB. I can never understand why he always gets dropped if we are at full strength. I like Schar in there because he actually makes us look like we can play football but as a pure CB Clark is really good I think
