And we have 5 left - Birmingham, Sheff Wed, Reading, Millwall and Swansea. Can we set a new record?

Quest tying to say Gray fouled the keeper and so ref could have ruled out the goal.

The Sky commentators thought that Gray had every right to go for the ball and that it was not a foul. All a matter of opinion!

    An update on Now TV
Stream was good quality, not HD, but as good or slightly better than Hive stream.
However the stream was not stable, it froze 14 times during the match which on the face of it is not very good but the strange thing was it always froze at 6 seconds past the minute on the match clock and came back again exactly 11 seconds later. I don't know if that's a problem with the stream or my wifi, will investigate.
Overall it was a good experience despite the freezing because you knew it would always come back and continue ok, rather than have to deal with unofficial streams with pop ups, ads and having to refresh or try other streams during the match.
Even the Hive and my TV freezes or spools at times.

An alternative would be to buy a NowTV stick if your TV does not have the NowTV app loaded (or loadable). Check out the Now TV website or Amazon for info on sticks.

Once I get my mobile pass will report back on what I get with that.

So for the same price as a Hive broadcast I was able to watch the match without too much stress, the downside for me is that I am contributing to Sky's profits.

    Hope this helps.

Interesting Scully. I am not sure what some of these newfangled bits of technology would work here in France. Yesterday I found a different stream almost by accident and I had full HD, no buffering and no pop ups. It was not one that asks you to disable your adblocker. I have no idea where the stream came from as the half time adverts were not shown and there was no symbol to say that it was from NBC or Bein to give a clue. It was just the straightforward broadcast from Sky. Using the same streaming company I was also able to watch the Swansea game with no problems. The only disadvantage is watching in full screen mode on my laptop makes commenting to the thread a pain.
Some of the streams I use say they have a license to broadcast a game, but how true that is I don't know. Sky do not have one to broadcast in France, but many people do have Sky boxes and buy a card through a friend with a UK address. My decoder is set up to receive both French and UK TV off the one dish, and when tuning it found that I could have German TV as well, but don't. Two languages is quite enough for me thank you!

For the initial outlay of an Amazon FireTVstick (around £40) + annual subscription to a reputable VPN service (£50) and annual subscription to Predator IPTV service (£50) I can access virtually any sports channel you care to mention from UK, USA, Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia/New Zealand (actually any TV channel, not just sports channel + films and TV boxsets). No pop-ups, no freezing although occasional buffering, which can be sorted by simply changing the IP address on the VPN - I frequently watch Watford play from Boston, Chicago or New York. :) - and no contribution to Sky's profits either. It allows me to watch on iFollow and Now TV as well - the only problem with the latter being that it has Chinese ads at half time and between matches...

Tx for your feedback, I realise that different countries have different licencing arrangements. If you find that excellent stream again I am sure we would all be grateful! Finding streams is a mysterious business I find!

Very helpful BB. I have a Firestick (god it's a ponderous thing) it's a version 1 which means it won't have Now TV as an app on it. What version is yours?
Can I ask what VPN you use and presumably stay away from free ones?

Firestick 4K 3rd generation. I subscribe to IPVanish - it's an American one, easy to operate and possibly the most popular. Yes, steer clear of the free ones - there's always a reason they are free....Firesticks can be ponderous, mainly because they come with so many pre-loaded apps so have little space left to add the ones you want. I actually increased the available space on mine by running it through a flash drive - any apps I add get stored on the flash drive instead of on the firestick. If the firestick dies, all my apps are safe. The only downside to a VPN is that you lose download speed - there is a way around that by running it through your router, but the instructions blew my mind so I never bothered...

You could try installing Now TV on your version 1 Firestick - it's a simple process. Just find the search icon at the top of the home page (little magnifying glass thingy to the left of the home button), click on it and type in Now. You'll get a list of options appear underneath - just click on the Now TV one and go from there.

Tx again BB, I will try seeing if I can put Now on my stick but the Now website says it won't support it.
Where do you connect a flash drive to a stick?

It's a bit complicated really - I'll dig up a YouTube video for you that explains how to do it later.

That's a bit misleading as no-one plays football every day. 'How many matches since...' would be a better pointer imho - but I'm not about to sit down and work that out.:)
