Fantastic post You're right, we've been winning ugly like never before but it can't last.

We can play well but I just don't see Copper influencing games after they've started as well as the managers around him.

 

Back in 2010/11, we were regularly outplaying and outpassing teams - this season we are winning in an uglier sort of way by grinding out results

Not sure how many of this team would be in a joint XI of both squads?

 

Just wish we had a striker, would take so much if ayew and Lowe.

With hand on heart Taff, I can't imagine anything as exhilarating as that first promotion to the Prem and those first two seasons. Beating the big boys, holding our own and winning a cup, the pride. Doing it as a new experience and doing it in style! Wonderful times. Cherished memories.

If we some how manage it this time around it's just not going to be the same with these owners (no empathy, cold and calculating and a slog to survive).

 

I would like to go up just to show as a club we have something to offer. In reality I don’t care for the PL the way it is run and being played at the moment, var is ruining games and will never improve it. There will be no celebrating goals until var has confirmed it. I am happy to be at the top end of the championship every season, the only thing PL may give us is a bit more financial stability or the chance to seek the club and have some new owners.
