A very good day, made all the better by Sheffield United being bottom of the prem, the massive trying very hard and close to succeeding holding that position in the Championship and Grimsby trying hard and succeeding in getting out of the Football League...

Professional team performance with every man playing for each other. All you McCann doubters should give a bit of credit were it's due because he has got this set of lads playing for each other.
If Gobby Twat Barton spent less time trying to be Alex Ferguson and let his players play he may even avoid relegation because when they were allowed to they were a decent outfit, dirty and annoying but decent.
Repeat what I posted on the MOTM thread, its a crying shame we cannot travel on Tuesday because it could have been one of those Sheffield Wednesday away nights.
Happy days. Top of the league.

Barton should have gone to Burton. But that Jimmy fella is doing a cracking job.
btw great win City. Just need the chasers to bottle it and leave them requiring snookers.

And I'm sure he'll be chatting away with my Dad too about the good old days of the 1960s, and THAT match against Chelsea. :)

Condolences mate - it's not nice. But with time I found I was rewatching all the matches I went to with my Dad, whilst smiling and enjoying the memories. <rose>
