Thanks . Our 74 year old neighbour had a sore arm , my 84 year old mum had nothing the woman who owns the bakery mid 50s felt rough for four days , we will see .
Yep same here - noticed that this morning when I went to the Post Office. What I will say is that (around here anyway) people seem to be keeping their distance when out and about, Though saying that my dad went for a walk on the beach yesterday ask said it was busy and people with kids didn't really care to keep their distance.
People are for the most part behaving as regards the 2m rule . Have to say ST Leonards Hospital ran wonderfully . Did you go to the post office to pick up your pension ?
There was no spike last year when tens of thousands descended on the beaches (fact. Look it up) so I would suggest a few people taking their kids for a stroll on the beach is probably not a big issue. We as a society are so inclined to nitpick the behaviour of others and forget that these young families have given up a year of their lives to this disease.
I was woken up at 2am, (12 hours after having the jab) shaking like a leaf, couldn’t get warm and spent the next few hours sleeping, waking up again with chills again and so on. Even wrapped myself in the quilt and added a blanket, things I never do. During the day it was the opposite and I had a few sweaty flushes, slight headache and then during the evening I was fine again.
I was just joking , suggesting the symptoms maybe because of the team you support( Saints ) . I Support the Williams F1 team ( and Saints ) .
I am at that stage where I just shrug my shoulders after a bad result, even the results that mustn’t be mentioned. Poor performance is more likely to upset me now.
I felt bad with shakes and sweats starting about 5 hours after AZ jab....was ill for a couple of days with bad case of sinusitis (which I've had for years) though that could be just coincidental. Latest results suggest that bad side effects could be indicative of a good immune system (most often seen in younger people, so I'm obviously younger than I look ) and/or a previous infection with Covid.
Figures that my immune system is rubbish - years of abuse by overdoing the single malt, brandy and beer probably. Or is it that my immune system has given up after 55 years of following Saints?
Good luck, mate. My friend and his missus had the same, but it went off after about a day. Hope you feel better soon!
Must add that, even though I got side effects, I'm still having my second dose. You gain far more than you lose....which after all is no worse than how you feel with a bad cold....and a short-lived one at that.
