Would need to see the fine print but it looks promising. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/new...-news/humber-freeport-budget-go-ahead-5067516
Indeed it is - best used only as a landmark when describing the route to Whiteheads chippy to fellow motorcyclists
It went pop about ten years ago and ended up being taken over by Leeds Building Society, I think they flogged it to an investment group a few years ago.
Whiteheads is the only reason to go to Hornsea anymore. Shame. Freeport was bollocks but did have a Nike shop at one point with some decent stuff in it.
I once managed to get a flashy pair of Adidas golf shoes from the main outlet shop about 15 years ago Plus it's got a large overflow car park where I taught my daughters to drive - so not all bad
Got some cheap Damart stuff from Hornsea freeport a long time ago. What's the odds on this new freeport being on the south bank?
Freeport Schmeeport What about beer and fags? Budgets in the good old days were only ever reported in terms of beer and fags. Anything? Pfft
I've read it as the whole of the Humber industrial area, right out to Goole and Scunthorpe. But have also heard only South Bank Conservative MPs were noted in the announcement.
No It will be both and Goole The bid was from all Councils (actually I’m not sure about N Lincs) Freeport’s can be 27 miles across and this is our plan https://www.business-live.co.uk/ports-logistics/budget-2021-freeport-humber-more-19956188
According to Dull Daily they're looking at between Saltend and Paull. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/new...-news/humber-freeport-budget-go-ahead-5067516
