It wouldn't surprise me. I think it's also been used as a cheap source of fats to fatten up Turkeys.

I'm swapping out the headset bearings on my bike in the morning. Might lob some Clover in there and let you know how it performs.

This is where you’d keep it in the fridge. When it’s 35 deg outside. It tends not to get anywhere near tropical in Teeside or Bristol, so unless you like to chisel lumps of butter off, just leave it in the cupboard or in a butter dish.

Last year there were 168 choking incidents involving refrigerated butter.

And also two incidents of broken toes where people had dropped frozen loaf of bread on their foot.

So you can see why this issue needs bringing to attention.
