The clue is underneath the title of the table...................

"Based on current goals scored, conceded and points per game".

In other words a load of crap based upon what has happened, not what is going to happen.

One of the men City allegedly were pursuing after Harris, Paul Cook, has taken over at Ipswich. Expect him to do well there.

That looks about right but if we continue our run that top six will change.

As far as I'm concerned, it's come on QPR tonight.

Barnsley are home at Oakwell to Brum this weekend and I can't see them losing that.

As said before, I'm not sure how beneficial games in hand are.
Yes, there is the opportinity to gain points, but with games coming thick and fast, the strain on a team of trying to squeeze an extra game or two in could prove detrimental.
An injury or two or fatigue and the wheels could come off.
It could happen to us. 1 fit RB, 1 fit LB, all 3 senior CBs playing every minute of every game, ditto one target man.

Midfield and support strikers we have in abundance though.

Im sure if we do get injuries though, Mick will find a way.

I was going to say we are walking a tightrope, but more like running a tightrope.

In fairness the whole team looked fresh last night. Having Roadrunner Bacuna and Ojo coming in helped the energy levels. Good that a couple had an early bath as well. MM certainly worked his magic and now has a revitalised Wilson and Murphy for Friday.

Bennett's injury looks bad. Bagan is very good cover and deserves the chance of an extended run despite the unfortunate circumstances. His confidence has shot up since his first game 14 months ago. He also looks a lot physically stronger. I hope not but I suspect Bennett will be out for the rest of the season.

Agree about the game in hand syndrome can be a distraction rather than an advantage, but statistically they're a point ahead of us even if they lose the one they have.

Given their relatively "easy" run in, I'd like to see that point advantage removed as soon as possible - tonight would be a good time.

Next 2 games they have are at home against Brum and Derby - after last night's shambles by Derby, I'll take that as 6 points coming up for them.

After those two, they take on Bournemouth - that could really sort things out one way or another.

Don’t forget we’ve got 6 pointer away trips to Brentford, Reading and those down west to come...

Yes, but we can do something about that ourselves - that's up to us.

Having already played Barnsley twice, we can't do anying about them, it's out of our hands.

Just concentrate on the things we can influence and let the rest take care of itself.
At the end of the season it'll be what it'll be.

I can't believe we're so naive in defence!! 2 soft goals again given away, they didn't have to work for it like so many others this year. We will need a complete rebuild if we stay up, as most of those players came up from L2 with us, but obviously not up to Champ level, either mentally or physically. It's going to be a close run thing over the last relegation spot, with us,Brum, Rovrum and Hudds desperate to get above the line, not confident at the moment.

Quote from the film, The Water Boy.

    "You can do it!!!!"

If we're both in the same division next season is it too much to hope you will be back at The Three Points........ sorry, Ricoh Arena?
