And quite ironic that you would post such a thing on THIS particular thread ! I think there's quite a bit of difference between someone who needs to get out of the house for their own sanity (regardless of the reasons) and someone camping on a ****ing cliff edge with their kid like.
Or the thousands of people who attended thousands of illegal raves, parties etc.... they aren't just wanting to get out of the house... they are wanting to get out of their trees on toot.
Where have I said this? Read post 1. carefully. I specifically name the behaviour I have issues with and stand by all that I've said. There is a massive difference between someone getting out of the house (which can easily be done locally and I agree really helps mental health- I do it daily) and folk attending raves, parties (620 in one weekend alone in MCR), weddings (800+ at one wedding along in London recently) and driving miles and miles into other areas (one clown drove from Dorset to the Lakes) potentially taking Covid with them (this has been proven). Rules are in place for a reason.. to protect the majority of the vulnerable population. The sooner these Covidiots stop their stupidity the sooner we will all be able to get back to normal and see our loved ones. It really is that simple. If you don't like this thread.. just don't post on it or read it then fella. It's quite simple.
Absolutely. Every bellend at a Rave potentially delays you or I getting to see family, getting to the gym etc... There was actually a Rave busted up in Consett last month at an abandoned factory. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-55877999 The Covidiots printed flyers to advertise it too ffs.... of course the coppers saw the flyers.
i think we have probably all broken the letter of the rules at some point. The difference is that some will have done it by forgetting to stay two metres apart a few times while talking, while others will have chosen to ignore them.
Exactly. It's like saying you can't criticise Adam Johnson if you've ever checked out a 19 year old in the street.
I was listening to a phone-in about it a couple of weeks ago (covid rules - not 19 year olds) and the vast majority of people said they were trying to be sensible about following the rules and how they interpreted them. The problem was that every single person interpreted sensible as being a line just the other side of how far they had stretched them
It's fairly obvious what's going on here. Those in denial and vociferous over their own lack of rule-breaking, have something to hide. Not me Guv, shouts Saint Albert of Consett....
Seahouses beach was rammed on Satdee neet. Big party broken up by the police. Lots of fines dished out by all accounts.
