I know. And I also know if I wanted guarantees, I'd have bought a washing machine, which incidently I need to as mine is as much use as Saints at the moment - lots of huff and puff, lots of noise but ultimately just doesn't cut it.
I agree with a lot of that, but you did forget to mention what a cheating bunch of players Everton are. Going down before they were even tackled . Disgraceful!!!!
My wording straight after watching another pretty lacklustre performance wasn’t put well. I was maybe being antagonistic as to say that IF we lost to Sheffield Utd on Saturday, would many managers survive or more importantly, have most fans behind them with 1 point from a possible 30. Me personally, I want RH to stay. I feel that we have a manager that has committed long term to our club, doesn’t look like some of the charlatans that we’ve had in the past, and genuinely care’s deeply about the club and the future of the club. In truth, my biggest fear is that if he doesn’t get any support over the summer, moments like what we’re in at the moment, could make him walk. It looks like we’ll lose our main striker in the summer for £15-£20 million, our only left back for free, as well as the loans of Walcott and Minamino. Depletes an already depleted squad, with nor much money coming in.
Fair enough. I wish you’d said that after my first reply to you or even my second. Would have saved a lot of angst and you called me Pierce Morgan!! now I can be an irritating little Cnut, but he’s a big one most of the time!!
Because he’s an incredible manager. A lot of the time when you’re in the minority, it’s because you’re wrong. Ralph deserves more time.
We should run a sweepstake on which two fans will get into it with each other after a game. Be more entertaining than the games at the moment.
Haha, FWIW I thought post lockdown you were arguably one of the best sides in the league in those last 9 games. You carried that form into this season and I know your current run is rank, but by my maths you took 29 points from your first 17 games this season, and it doesn’t seem long since that Ralph was crying on touchline after you dismantled Liverpool. Your demise seems to have coincided with the absence of Walcott and your attacking full backs being in and out due to injury. You need to grind out a result imo, and once the rot has stopped the confidence will start to come back.
I'm not calling for Ralph's head, I'm just fed up with watching us play atm because heads have dropped and very little can be done about the shortcomings in the squad...I'm hoping we don't get worse, but can't see too many things to cling onto. Diallo will make a difference and Moussa is growing as a player but other than that, the whole squad seems to have gone backwards. It's Ralph's job to do what he can with what we've got, and I appreciate its not an easy task but knowing that still doesn't make it easy watching us make **** teams look good
If we somehow managed to get past the Harlem Globe Trotters someone would need to literally bring tools to grab that pot from out of clammy palms mate
