so IF Jose wins the FIFA Super World Cup Final against City in April then he is the best in the world and finishing 8th whilst playing ****e in the PL will be worth it. if he loses then Jose out I presume
He’s massively on the downslope imo. This is the year they need to somehow find a replacement for him.
I don't think he's fit. Really looks miles off the pace. The other strikers they've got can't play the way that he does, either. Shouldn't be too hard to find a pacey striker that likes running in behind, but one with his workrate and finishing? Tough ask.
The thing they'll find hard to replace is the fact that he's not left. If they get a 22 year old with similar quality a big club will end up taking him.
Their recruitment's been really good over the last few years, though. They can certainly use that as a selling point. Would they risk selling Vardy to make it clear that they're looking for a starter? Unlikely, especially if they're in Europe, again.
They were ****ing rubbish against your lot too, until the last 15 minutes or so. Did absolutely nothing and then you collapsed as soon as they did.
True, A second would have killed them off - but we decided to play 'Let's walk the ball into the net'. That and the fact we are completely unable to defend.
