Nah, watching our stream, the WBA game and the BBC for updated scores ... ... it all got too much for me and all the drink didn't help
Imagine you’re interviewing for a data analyst position and you’re down to the last 2 candidates. Candidate A has years of experience and is more than capable of performing in the role, but comes across as an arrogant sod who rubs people up the wrong way. Candidate B is a very likeable lad but not as experienced as Candidate A, but you feel certain would fit in with the rest of the team and given time would excel in the post. In cases like this, I’d be going for Candidate B, offering a lower salary which he knows he can increase as he proves himself. Just because Candidate B is offered the job, it doesn’t mean he was the most experienced and should therefore be automatically offered the higher rate. Just my opinion mind.
Rawa need to wind it in, they don't speak for everyone and need to accept that things will happen without notice or seeking approval
Quite so. It is not as if here is no role at all for some kind of supporters group having some sort of dialogue with the club. But there are two things worth saying here IMO. Firstly, the most urgent need for contact is when people are deeply unhappy with the running or direction of the club, ( It is also of course the time we are least likely to see it). But anyone having difficulty with recent developments and the proposed direction can not be a supporter, so the first of these reasons does not hold. Secondly, whatever form any liaison group takes is just a gesture from the club, and could and should only ever be that. Entitled announcements do nothing at all for the club. Nothing. They might serve to massage the feeling of importance in a few people but that's it. They do not help, and it is a small step from this type of thing to the type of insane behaviour that we have witnessed from our nearest and dearest.
They have a very annoying tendency to speak as if they're the representatives of the entire support ... ... they're not.
getting sick of the way they operate (and i'm one of the RAWA) I just want them not to appear so high and mighty, cos they're not. Whoever writes their tweets needs replacing, before they get off on the wrong foot with the new club management set-up.
Is the talk of Maurice Luis-Dreyfus coming onboard just paper talk? And if not what role is he expected to take up here? Another director?
The whispers were that KLD wanted a right hand man he could totally trust and Maurice would fit that bill. After the other directors were appointed I sense that'll be it ... ... although I've been told his mam might be at Wembley.
They are cringeworthy mate, who do they think they are? they certainly don’t speak on my behalf. If the club wants to take a **** it’s up to them, since when does a supporter group dictate what’s happening in the day to day running at the club? they obviously have delusions from rubbing shoulders with the mighty SD & CM? RAWA need to climb down of the self proposed high horse and remember that they are just ordinary fans like us. If KLD wants to change anything at the club, well, hmmm he owns it and can do what he wants, without having to justify himself to a jumped up group of unimportant people who pretend to be connected! Group of muppets, wouldn’t surprise me if they were all mags in disguise the way they go on.
Just drove passed the AOL. It looks really smart as does the SOL and BOL and the potential that someone with half an ounce of common sense, creativity and the money behind them should be able to leverage them to great effect. It’s a pity the 3 Amigos decided to asset strip the ****ery out of them. Hopefully KLD will use the opportunity (as he can’t currently invest in the team) to do them up and maximise the back room staff numbers so they struggle to keep up with the cash inputs to keep their share percentages. A few good CAPEX projects (new pitch, pitch lights, stadium refurbs) and greater OPEX costs through more staff should make their pips squeak!
I like the irony. After deliberately starving SAFC of cash, they’ll be scuttled by the club getting proper funding for the first time in years.
I've no idea if she has a London flat but she'd be the only wealthy Russian woman without one. This is her son's big project and who knows when we'll ever be at Wembley again. There's a decent chance that she'll be there in my opinion.
Whoo hooo looks like we might have light at the end of the tunnel, well at least the sun has come out these past few days, think I caught a bit of it yesterday
