    So, if it was 0-0, or 1-0, you would be happy with someone on an ego trip deciding that the manager's decision on who was the designated penalty taker can be overruled and that they could take the penalty? Even if in the 1-0 the designated penalty taker had scored with his kick?

    You get points for a penalty in both. Though in rugby such self indulgence would get short shrift.

    I did think Wimbledon looked a shadow of the team we played at the KCOM earlier in the season, when they should've been 2 or 3 up against us but we managed to scrape a 1-0 win.

    Didn't even realise that they had a change in manager over January. Thought they looked better under the previous one.

    Alert... cue woman on a rant;

    3 points, a comfortable win, I know you can only play what’s in front of you, but let’s not get carried away, on the face of it I think that result is papering over the cracks, Wimb’don were crap & didn’t offer much.

    Wilks, disrespect, the Captain. If his arse wasn’t twitching when he took that penalty, it will be in training on Monday if Coyle’s family turn up. If I was Coyle I’d be seething, training Monday, if he puts a foot wrong or tries to put a foot in, I’d be showing what for.

    Might be kissing & hugging now, but if he hadn’t scored the pen .....dangerous, not so harmonious dressing room.

    Obvs just my competitive spirit!

    Although I normally agree with anything a woman says ( I do know what’s best for me ) I’m afraid I have to disagree ( tin hat on ) yes what was In front of us wasn’t that good but I thought some of our football was a joy to watch. I’d love to count the passes in that last 15-20 mins, the wombles couldn’t get the ball off us. Greaves is getting better by the game, he had an attacker bearing down on him and instead of booting it into row Z he made a cracking pass to Elder, good players seem to have all the time in the world. The Doc was excellent for me today as was the honey monster but in midfield Jones was brilliant. He’s one of those players that always gives a 7-8 and sometimes a 9-10. You build your team around that sort of player in my book. All across the back we looked solid. I enjoyed that game and the fact I managed to see almost all of it was a Brucey bonus. Onwards and upwards... 14 more finals and we could, just, maybe, possibly do it....

    After what you wrote saying anyone else is talking bollocks shows a total lack of self awareness.
    The fact my original comment has a total of 10 likes and yours has 1 should tell you something.

    Played good football and kept the ball on the deck more. Maybe good pitches suit us better?

    Take that temperament away, and you might lose other parts of his game.
    Wilks earned his shot, City were two up.
    Need more of that desire, not less....

    Do you agree Gabby Logan does a better job discussing rugby union than the female football presenters who are involved with football commentary and analysis, even though she hasn't 100+ caps in the sport like they have?

    The fact that Wilks himself disagreed with you TOM really kinda ends the argument.
