We got lucky at Southampton, were totally outplayed and dug ourselves out, late on, with two outstanding goals ...

    ... much like today.

    Leadbitter got one iirc <laugh>

I'd rather give Remi Mathews a shot at LB than mcfadzean. Vokins was better in his second game, I'd bring him back in after that shower of ****e today. Mcfadzean was abysmal in everything he did today.

McFadzean's decision making is atrocious, his throw-in to Sanderson at 0-0 was one of the stupidest things I have seen on a football pitch and shouting for offside for their second instead of staying with his man was laughable.
Left back is a big problem for us until Hume returns and even then he is a better wing back than full back.

Exactly. We had a great run but actually stole quite a few result by the odd goal
You can't win 4-0 every week. But when you have an off day make sure you don't lose.
And the best thing we didn't fold we dug in and fought back.
Bet the players feel like they won that and are buzzin for Tuesday

Not getting an immediate improvement on him in Jan was a mistake. I’d personally get the young Southampton lad in despite him being shaky. He might just improve with game time

I’m gonna focus on the fact we are 2 wins off Lincoln, still have them to play, and they are ****e.

Yet again great heart and belief shown to fight back, I’m just keeping my focus on that.

We are well in the hunt for second. Forget Peterborough they will deservedly win the league, as Coventry and Luton have last 2 years.

I don’t fear any of the sides we are fighting for second, not one bit.

    This for me.

It might be finally Peterborough’s turn, but nothing else should worry us. I just don’t want Portsmouth or Charlton in a play off final though. That does <laugh>

I don't like to pick out individuals, from a team game, but this lad should buy a sweet shop.

Someone on the radio has just said those changes should have been made at halt time, i would say three should have been made max and we would have won that game the players were available to do this so dont praise LJ for this point, he lost us 2 imo. Yes they were a good side but we made them look better than they are and their confidence grew minute by minute in that disaster of a first half.

Wouldn’t fear Pompey this year to be honest, even Charlton its more the demons than the comparison between us.

I think second is right there for us, I genuinely do. Jones has given us a wee snapshot of the extra bit of class he’s going to bring as his minutes rise, we’ve got that, and more, in reserve, everyone else is maxed out.

I genuinely think it’s for us to throw away.

Lets not overlook that Crewe are having a very decent season, we’ve played them twice and they’ve been very decent twice, credit to them.

It is definitely our weakest link. All teams sttack us down the left-side, so you'd think 3 at the back is a much better option until we can field a proper back four.

    Anyhoo...

For all he didnt have a scooby where his header was going it ended up a canny assist from Charlie.

Hope it works for Johnson here. Could see him being manager for years and finding a “home” here. Yes. I like him <laugh>

I'm sure he was thinking, "If I can just skew this header away from any natural trajectory I'd bet Kev can catch it perfectly and easily beat the keeper." <laugh>

It was the vital link in a goal that will not be bettered anywhere this season. And its his first assist. ++
