I agree to a point and there are clearly different schools of thought, taste and palates, the lighter varieties are generally accepted as better cold yes, but I've been served pretty full bodied powerful reds chilled or cold when I've been in Spain too
I voted shake it all about because I think both methods work, depends on room temp and of course, chocolate type.
It's probably seasonal, in the colder months I don't think chocolate needs to be in the fridge, when it's warmer it's possibly better off in there. I do tend to stick it in the fridge if it's better chocolate
plus depends on the chocolate dunnit Snickers etc can get a bit hard in fridge..got a give it a few minutes to warm down before you tuck in but yeh only a daft **** keeps his chocolate out in open or in a warm stuffy cupboard in summer.
Yes! Was gonna post similar. You don't want a boost, for example, anywhere near a fridge, they're almost inedible room temperature or warm, so it's very dependent on what bar you've got and what type you've got, life's just complex innit
Fair point, I've learned from putting chocolate in the fridge, there are certain ones you just can't because they go solid, other examples would be lion bar and the chunky kitkats. One defo no no in the fridge, although it's not chocolate is gelatine free sweets, they just go a gooey mess.
chunky Kit Kat’s out of a fridge break y fckin teeth. worst one got to be a Dime bar, personally I hate them...don’t class them as a chocolate...more toffee imo
If you like new wines, or younger ones, I would recommend getting to Vienna and visiting some of the Heurigers in the hills on the outskirts of the city from the start of autumn, they serve both new reds and whites, it flows, it's all excellent stuff, it's pretty cheap and the location is beautiful
I was there a couple of years ago, got the tram up into the hills to visit the wine taverns then back into the city. On a couple of nights we ended up in basement Irish bars till the small hours after those places, horse burgers and local lagers were the order of the day in those, so something of a contrast
Anyone had Cadbury Dark Milk? Surprised me as I find that sort of chocolate too sugary sweet normally but it's good shiz, tried it both from and not from the fridge, was better from the fridge
