Confusing, given you're disregarding vast swathes of the UK and France which would imply a bias, but it is what it is I guess.
You can continue with your guesses all day long, an accurate assessment of the facts as they are presented would be more appropriate.
Yes It is That’s why they wanted lorry drivers tested before they went there. To be fair we should have tested Southerners too because it was the Kent variant which they were worried about and if we could have stopped that arriving here we’d have been well away .
I think vaccinating teachers would be good, if only to reassure parents, but unusually for me I can’t really disagree with Govt policy on it because age & medical issues are a bigger factor and it would have been a bun fight between who was most vulnerable. Bang on with your second point though, and it’s made even worse by financial support being difficult to get so those same factory workers daren’t get tested in case they have to isolate, lose money and maybe their job
There aren't many schools that are in England and Scotland and Wales and Northern Ireland. They tend to be in one of them, I was commenting on the ones that are in the country that is local to me. Castro wanted to know the differences in how the virus can spread, I merely offered a suggestion that our much higher population density could have an effect. Seems rather logical but I'm sure Google could find you a riposte.
If parents (or teachers) need reassuring, it's more down to misinformation in the media, and propaganda from unions. I'd much rather it was prioritised on need and efficiency than emotion. Looking at the on-line calculator's, there are liable to be 36,000,000 people deemed more in need than many teachers are.
Maybe it's because the schools are open that they need a curfew and another lockdown. I have a relative who lives in France with husband and school-age child, I'll ask her how she sees it and post back on here.
You'd never get 10 robins side by side, wings akimbo, like that. Territorial bastards that they are. Although if you did, using nails and superglue an' stuff, it would be about 2 metres. Although they'd be going ****ing mental.
I agree, it should be down to whatever science says it is. I’d feel a lot better with a vaccine, but as long as the science says I’m alright waiting for it, I trust it. I spoke to a friend living out in Jordan, he teaches at an international school and he gets £4400 a month tax free, free childcare, free housing and a food allowance. They’re hiring. I have to say I’m sorely tempted.
