I don't think it was a ransom situation, the silly sod offered a reward, no questions asked....there's your problem <ok>

She really hadn't thought this through. Now if she offered half million for capture of the kidnappers, dead or alive, that I would understand.

I'm sure the dog walker gets more than coin. I'd also have a wild guess at that the area she lives in is affluent. You ever been to LA?....it's got two sides to it, the very rich and the dustman deliver. I doubt her dogs being taken was random. I get why she might want to offer a reward for the return of those dogs, but I'd have handled it from a different angle. Offer half a million to the criminal fraternity within the area. For the safe return of the dogs, and leave the thieves a little reminder never to return again, break a leg, knee cap them, wahtever. Afterall we all have a boss, and any criminal worth their salt aint going to turn down half a million, to do over a couple of toerags, easy money for them. I expect some criminals would probably carry out a killing for the same sum of money.

You would mate, they use plastic water bottles as sandles, I saw it on comic relief.

Anyway, who said they were stylish? They're trainers, they're not meant to be stylish, they're meant for kicking about.

Are you suggesting some £20 bits of snide looking plastic are stylish?
