Agree they all knew what they were doing. She and her ilk should never set foot in this country again.

Why? I mean get rid of the moustache. Are you implying that women especially mature women like Mrs Potatohead don't have them?

This is what Salmond was found not guilty of (with 1 count of not-proven.)
So many women, so much conspiracy. Just going to leave it here.

The 14 charges allege that Mr Salmond:

    • Indecently assaulted Woman A on a number of occasions in Glasgow in June and July 2008 by kissing her on the mouth and touching her buttocks and breasts with his hands over her clothing
    • Sexually assaulted Woman A in December 2010 or December 2011 in the Ego nightclub in Edinburgh by touching her arms and hips with his hands over her clothing
    • Indecently assaulted Woman B in October or November 2010 at Bute House by repeatedly seizing her by the wrists and repeatedly pulling her towards him and attempting to kiss her
    • Sexually assaulted Woman C in a car in Edinburgh in February 2011 by touching her leg with his hand over her clothing
    • Sexually assaulted Woman D on various occasions between 2011 and 2013 at Bute House, the Scottish Parliament and other locations by touching her buttocks with his hands over her clothing, stroking her arms, and touching and stroking her hair
    • Sexually assaulted Woman E at Bute House in October 2013 by removing her foot from her shoe, stroking her foot, lifting her foot towards his mouth and attempting to kiss her foot
    • Sexually assaulted Woman F at Bute House in November or December 2013 by kissing her on the mouth
    • Intended to rape Woman F in December 2013 at Bute House by causing her to sit on a bed, lying on top of her, making sexual remarks to her, touching her buttocks, thighs and breasts over her clothing with his hands, repeatedly kissing her face, struggling with her and pulling up her dress
    • Sexually assaulted Woman G in 2012 at the Ubiquitous Chip restaurant in Glasgow by touching her buttocks with his hand over her clothing
    • Sexually assaulted Woman G at Bute House in April 2014 by placing his arm around her, making sexual remarks to her and attempting to kiss her
    • Sexually assaulted Woman H at Bute House in May 2014 by placing his arm around her body, placing his hand under her clothing and underwear and touching her breast, repeatedly kissing her on the face and neck and stroking her leg with his hand
    • Attempted to rape Woman H at Bute House in June 2014 by pinning her against a wall, removing her clothes and his own, before pushing her onto a bed and lying naked on top of her
    • Sexually assaulted Woman J at Bute House in September 2014 by seizing her by the shoulders, repeatedly kissing her on the face, attempting to kiss her on the lips and touching her leg and face with his hand
    • Sexually assaulted Woman K at Stirling Castle in November 2014 by touching her buttock with his hand over her clothing
Mr Salmond says he is innocent of all the allegations against him, and has entered not guilty pleas to all 14 of the charges.

But he was found not to be guilty Beth. Are you saying he is guilty and the courts were wrong?

So from the reports at the time:-

But the defence case readily admitted that he had not always behaved well. Mr Jackson said throughout that the "touchy-feely" Mr Salmond could certainly act inappropriately, and led witnesses who called him "extraordinarily pugnacious" and "extremely demanding".

The QC said in his closing speech that the former first minister "could certainly have been a better man" - but that none of this made him a criminal, something the jury accepted.

Mr Salmond admitted to having a "sleepy cuddle" with one complainer, and what Mr Jackson called "a bit of how's your father" with another - both members of his staff far younger than he, and neither of them his wife.

The defence also never really attempted to dispel the slightly raucous image of Bute House drawn by the prosecution, of exotic liquors being poured late at night after celebrity dinners and staff being invited to do paperwork in the bedroom.

To stress again, a jury has ruled that none of this was criminal conduct. But that does not mean nobody will question it. The SNP's equalities convener has already called elements of it "deeply inappropriate", although Mr Salmond is also sure to fight for his reputation in light of the verdict.

If any one of those 14 women said no and he persisted in anyway, then in mind it is a criminal act.
Whether they can prove they said no and persisted in a criminal court is a different matter, and the answer to your question is "no they could not".

He sounds a thoroughly distasteful man and I would not want him leading my party or government or my MP, whatever party he represented.
And I cannot believe he is putting his grubby head above the parapet again

I remember the accusations and I even said on here when he admitted that I thought he would be found guilty.
    However
He wasn't and the law states he is innocent so we need to respect that.

I respect the decision, I do not like it but I respect it...I do not respect him in the slightest, a grubby human being.
Hence I am suspicious of everything he does including his attempt to discredit the SNP, the Scottish government and even the law makers. Is he trying to do this for the good of Scotland and the Scottish people or for some other maybe selfish reason.

Perhaps some of the Scottish members can come on here and tell us

An interesting point which no doubt we're going to hear a lot more about.

Personally, I have worries about Bob who now holds an Irish passport. The next parking ticket, and he'll be on a one way flight to Dublin :emoticon-0100-smile

It seems to me anyway that it’s very easy for the likes of Ellers to cheer on the kicking out of scumbags like Begum.....but once that precedence in in place.....those self same bigots will be saying how unfair it is when used against themselves or their loved ones.
First they came for the Jews etc.....

    Worrying

I doubt there's any question it would be used for anything other than terrorist offences against, among others, the UK in a country that has no law or criminal courts. That's the problem with Begum. She is believed to have participated in atrocities like beheading civilians but there is no chance of getting any evidence against her, one way or the other.

But that’s not my point Goldie....Who knows what this ruling might be used for in the future....we can’t answer that for sure and I certainly wouldn’t trust any government to just stop at ‘terrorist activities’.
I might be wrong but I don’t think Begum actually had dual nationality herself...only the right to joint nationality through her parents. Again if that is correct it’s VERY concerning as how far could they go back in the future...parents, great grandparents, further ?
We are a nation of immigrants and go far enough back we’ll all find someone who came over here as an immigrant.
Besides even if she is in hold of a Bangladeshi passport....what gives us the right to push our ‘problem’ on to them.
Like it or not, she’s British born and bred....and should be our problem to deal with and punish
